As parents, we know these years are precious and few. As teachers and administrators, our desire is to partner with our families to impart not just knowledge - but wisdom. To guide the children educationally, socially, emotionally, and spiritually, so that they understand their worth as children of God, and are equipped to succeed in the world beyond HOPE.
(Hope) has the feel of a smaller school where the teachers and staff know and care about the students, yet large enough to provide socialization among classmates, provide excellent athletic opportunities, and programs such as music and drama as well as a strong academic program.
There are no do-overs. As parents, we only have one chance to solidify the faith of our children. We absolutely want them to be a light in the world ... once they have a solid foundation from which to shine!
Hope definitely gave me an academic foundation that set me up for my future successes in college and in my career. The nuanced teacher student interactions, gifted program options, college preparatory focus, and spiritual growth guidance really helps to put out well rounded, confident, and capable students. Also, the community it fosters lasts far after the student matriculates!
Great faculty, excellent and highly challenging curriculum with faith and moral based teaching added to provide a solid education. and positive environment for kids.
Christian education at its best. Hope educates the whole child. I'm grateful for the experiences, friends and education that my children have received.
All four of our children graduated from Hope Christian School. They attended 6-12 grades. All have completed competitive university degrees and two have completed graduate school. We could not be more pleased with the academic preparation, the incredible role models our children had in the classroom and sports, and the lifelong friendships they developed. Hope has been the best financial investment we could have made in our children's lives to set them up for academic and spiritual success in life.
Our family is so thankful for Hope Christian school. We have had two of our children graduate from public schools, and they received an adequate education. We sent the next three to Hope for their high school years and what a difference! We love the fact that this school still has the ability to maintain a moral standard that is conducive to the academic advancement of its students. We have tried public, charter, and private schools. Hope is the best choice for our family's educational needs. - A Former Public School Teacher
Both my daughter and my son graduated from Hope and had a great experience. They both attended UNM (business and engineering) and were well prepared. Both have well-paying jobs in their career field. I would not trade the education or experience they received by attending Hope Christian School.
...I also like that my classrooms are small. When I attended public school we had sometimes 40 students to a class, so when I would need help the teachers didnt have time to work with me one on one.
As a student I feel challenged to be my best academically, spiritually and socially. Hope is a well rounded school that does a great job preparing students for college through Biblical guidance. Class sizes are great. The staff at Hope really cares about the students success and work hard to help us in every way possible.
Hope provides a strong academic environment that also allows students to have easy one on one interaction with faculty and teachers. Students are brought together thanks to a more personal campus, which allows all grades to converse and make friends regardless of age.
HOPE is the real deal. When they say it's a family, it's true. Teachers are genuinely invested in their students' lives - from academics to spiritual to extracurricular. And how they handled COVID was heads above other schools in ABQ. They managed to stay open for in-person learning and keep the students and staff safe the entire 2020-21 school year. A+ for this year!!!!
I just finished my first year at Hope (transferred) , and I absolutely loved the classes and community. The other students were so friendly and it didn't take me long at all to make friends. I especially appreciated the caring attitude of the majority of the teachers.
